Try On Policy

Effective Date: June 16, 2025

At The Real Bride, we want your Try On experience to be as seamless, enjoyable, and stress-free as possible. By submitting a request to try on pieces at home, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Highlights of our Policy:

  • We only ship to US addresses via UPS and FEDEX. We do not ship to PO Boxes.
  • Try On fees are non-refundable and cover round-trip shipping, packaging, and garment preparation.
  • You have 3 calendar days including the date of delivery to try on your piece(s). 
  • Returns must be made on the 3rd day to avoid late fees.
  • Please be mindful when trying on piece(s) as you may be liable for damage to them.
  • Do not remove any tags – this is considered damage and you will be liable for the full MSRP of the item. 
  • You will be charged additional fees for late or unreturned items.
  • You may apply up to $100 from one Try On order toward a purchase of $1,000 or more.
  • Items may be worn indoors for personal evaluation only. They may not be worn outdoors or used for any other purpose (e.g., events, weddings, photo shoots, or public appearances) unless granted written permission by The Real Bride.
  • By submitting an order to try on at home, you agree to our policies.

How It Works

Select Your Try On Pieces: 

Add Try On–eligible pieces to your cart. Each item lists a flat shipping & handling fee, which covers round-trip delivery and packaging. These fees are not refundable and do not represent a rental or product usage charge. 

Payment Method on File for Incidentals:

By placing a Try On order, you authorize The Real Bride to store your payment information through our secure payment processor for the sole purpose of covering incidentals related to your Try On order.

We reserve the right to charge your card up to the full retail price plus tax of any item that is:

  • Returned late
  • Returned damaged, stained, or in need of repair 
  • Missing tags 
  • Not returned at all

You will not be charged unless one of these conditions occurs.

Delivery: 

  • Your estimated delivery window will be provided at checkout, based on your order's processing time, as well as the shipping time.
  • You will receive tracking information via email as soon as your Try On order has shipped.
  • No changes can be made to your shipping address once your Try On order has left our facility.
  • Once shipped, your order may take 2-5 days to arrive. Delivery timelines may vary based on your location and holidays.

Delivery Timeline Disclaimer
All scheduled Try On dates are considered target windows. While we do our best to align delivery with your selected date, shipping timelines are ultimately determined by the carrier. Packages may arrive earlier or later than expected, and The Real Bride is not responsible for delays or early arrivals once the package is in the carrier’s possession. Your Try On period begins on the date the carrier marks the package as delivered.

Try On Period: 

You’ll have 3 calendar days from the date of delivery to try on your selected items at home. Your Try On period begins the day your package is marked as delivered, even if this is earlier than the estimated date shown at checkout. Items must be dropped off with the shipping carrier and scanned into their tracking system by the 3rd day to avoid late fees. 

Example: If your package is delivered on a Monday, it must be dropped off at the specified mail carrier location and scanned into the tracking system by Wednesday end of day.

Usage Limitations: 

The Try On experience is provided solely for temporary, personal evaluation. You are welcome to wear the garments in private settings. However, items may not be worn outdoors or used for any event, wedding, or other commercial or promotional activity involving compensation, professional photography, or public display, unless the activity is directly affiliated with The Real Bride. Any use beyond personal evaluation, unless explicitly approved by The Real Bride, is a breach of this agreement and may result in charges up to the full retail value plus tax of the affected item or items.

Returning Your Items: 

Once you’ve finished your Try On experience, use the provided return shipping label to send all of the items in the original package back to us. Please confirm everything you received is in the package. 

The cost of shipping your Try On package to you and the return shipping back to us is covered in the Try On fee at checkout. 

We recommend you copy or take a picture of the tracking number before dropping off the items and confirm it’s in the shipper’s system after you’ve dropped the items with the shipper.

Late Returns

A $15/day late fee will apply for each day the package is not shipped back after the 3-day Try On period.

If the return is still not received and scanned by the carrier within 7 calendar days after the original return deadline, you will be charged up to the full retail price plus tax of any unreturned item(s).

Condition of Items

All items must be returned in their original condition, free of stains, tears, odors, or other damages.

Do not remove any tags attached to the items. Items returned without tags will be considered damaged and may incur charges up to the full retail value of the item.

If an item is returned damaged, stained, or otherwise unusable, you may be charged up to the full retail value of the item.

Shipping Costs

All Try On shipping and return costs are included in the Try On fee listed at checkout. These fees are non-refundable up to 6 days before target Try On date.

In cases of unreturned packages, the customer is responsible for replacement costs up to the full retail value of the items.

You will not be held liable for loss or damage caused by the carrier, but you are advised to take a photo of your items before drop-off in case liability is disputed.

Applying Try On Fees Toward Your Purchase

You may apply up to $100 from one Try On order toward the cost of a purchase if the total purchase cost is $1,000 or more before taxes and fees. This discount applies to one Try On order only; additional Try On order fees cannot be combined or applied to the same purchase.

Refunds and Cancellations

You may cancel your Try On order for a full refund up to 6 calendar days before your scheduled Try On start date.

After this window, your order may already be in transit and is no longer eligible for a full refund.

To Cancel: follow the cancellation instructions provided in your confirmation email or reach out directly to us.

Try On fees are non-refundable if you cancel less than 6 full days before your scheduled Try On start date.

Customer Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring the package is returned on time and in good condition.

Please retain the receipt from your drop-off location and tracking information as proof of return in case of delays or shipping issues.
