Sample sizes are unlikely to fit you perfectly but instead are designed to give you a good feel for the overall style and fit.
We recommend selecting the largest available size closest to your measurements.
If your size is unavailable, choose the next available size up. You can comfortably size up by 1–3 sizes and still get a good sense of the look and feel, especially since we include dress clamps with every package.
For example: if you wear a size 6 and it’s unavailable, try a size 8 or 10.
We do not recommend sizing down unless you are within 0.5" of the sample’s measurements. See Size Chart.

We offer free shipping on all purchases over $150 and guarantee delivery in 5 months or less.
Our standard production timeline is 2-4 months and can vary depending on customizations, order volume, or carrier shipping delays. We recommend ordering at least 5-6 months before your big day to ensure your pieces arrive in time for any alterations.

What is “made to measure”?
What is “made to measure”?
“Made to measure” means each piece is created to your custom measurements, ensuring a more personalized fit. All of our items (excluding veils, which are one-size) are made to measure at no additional cost.
While every piece is tailored to your measurements, this is not a fully bespoke design. We adjust the size to enhance proportional fit, which helps reduce overall tailoring costs. Once you receive your items, we still recommend a final fitting with a tailor for any minor adjustments to perfect your look.

We recommend ordering your pieces at least 6 months before your big day to ensure they arrive with plenty of time for any alterations.
Our pieces typically take 2 to 4 months to produce and ship, depending on the complexity of your order and our production schedule. You’ll receive tracking updates throughout the process, and we guarantee delivery within 5 months of your order date for the latest possible arrival.

We want you to feel confident and cared for throughout your experience with The Real Bride. Because each of our pieces is made-to-order, we handle returns and cancellations a little differently to balance the personalized nature of our process with your satisfaction and to support our mission of reducing waste by creating only what is needed.
Here’s what you need to know:
Order Cancellations:
- Within 24 Hours of Purchasing: You may cancel your order for a full refund within 24 hours of purchase.
- After 24 Hours of Purchasing : You may cancel your order for a 50% refund, excluding any rush order fees. As all items are made to order, this policy helps offset some costs incurred from the initiation or production of your piece[s].
Returns and Refunds:
If your item has flaws or does not fit the measurements you provided:
- Notification Window: You must notify us within 10 business days of delivery of any:
- Quality defects or craftsmanship flaws.
- Significant discrepancies from the measurements you provided. Significant discrepancies are any deviations ±0.50 inches from the measurements you’ve provided us or the applicable size guide as stated in the Return Policy.
- Resolution Process:
- We will evaluate the issue and work with you to provide a resolution. Options include repairs, alterations, or a replacement.
- If a resolution isn’t feasible, we will issue a full refund upon receipt of the unworn, unaltered garment. The Real Bride will cover return shipping costs.
Change of Mind:
- If you change your mind, you may return your item(s) within 30 days of delivery for a refund of up to 50% of the purchase price, excluding any rush order fees.
- Returns for "change of mind" must meet the following conditions:
- The item must be unworn and unaltered.
- Item has not been laundered.
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- Please email us first before returning your item(s).
Exchanges: Because every piece is made to order, we are unable to offer exchanges.
